SkiL-Care Heel-Float Plus
Designed to prevent pressure sore formation by eliminating pressure on the heel, bunion, and malleoli. It provides maximum air circulation to aid in the healing of existing pressure ulcers. The rigid insert helps prevent foot-drop. Cutouts on the heel-float help the eliminate pressure on lateral and medial malleoli. A foot band helps secures below bunions while a water-based gel insert lowers pressure beneath the ankle. The straps are adjustable for placement in multiple positions and locations and the extended foot support keeps blankets and sheets off the user’s toe. The Heel-Float is covered with a soft launderable Cozy Cloth fabric.
