North Coast Medical Thermo-Form Thumb Support
Comfortable, custom-fit thumb support with the benefits of a molded, thermoplastic orthosis Made of 1/16in (1.6mm) Neo-Tex, a smooth, comfortable poly-blend material with heat-retaining properties. Use the Short and Mid lengths to treat thumb CMC and MP arthritis, ligament injuries, MP fusion, tendinitis and joint fractures. Use the Long length to treat de QuervainÕs, tenosynovitis, arthritis, wrist and thumb tendinitis, joint fractures and CMC joint arthroplasty. X-Small size in short length may be appropriate for some children. Put the thermoplastic insert into the pocket and add hot water to soften and mold. Hook and loop closures allow for easy donning and doffing.
