Indications: Indicated for immobilization following rotator cuff repairs, S/P glenohumeral acromioplasty surgery, or other shoulder related injuries.
Application:
- Open up immobilizer, release all hook and loop closures, remove and set aside humeral cuff and long shoulder strap.
- Grasp the widest portion of immobilizer, wrap around waist and secure hook and loop closure, making sure padded wrist/forearm cuff is in front of the body.
- Secure humeral cuff onto the body of immobilizer just above the elbow, place the upper arm in cuff and secure.
- Open padded wrist/forearm cuff, place forearm in the cuff and secure.
- Attach the long shoulder strap to the front portion of immobilizer, bring over the unaffected shoulder and secure to the back of immobilizer.
- NOTE: any excess material may be trimmed if desired.
Cleaning and Care: Close all contact closures. Hand wash in warm water with mild soap. The product should be air-dried. Do not use high temperatures to wash or dry.
